Staying at Simi & Sima's farm was an exceptional experience. The house and surroundings offer the most peaceful vibe, either with full privacy or in contact with the hosts. They are very kind people with great attitude and a good sense of humor. Their hospitality was topped by sharing the farm's produce with us – tomatoes so sweet we would never find at home. We also enjoyed cuddling the dogs, taking morning walks to say Hi to the donkeys or simply watch the sun set from our terrace. This was something else, in the most positive way. Simo and Sima’s place is very special, a tranquil farm in the hills of Umbria. They were so warm and friendly, we felt incredibly welcomed. Every evening their dogs lounged on the patio with us as we read and took in the breath taking sunsets. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit hier. Die Landschaft und die Aussicht sind traumhaft, das Haus und das Grundstück sind sehr hübsch und liebevoll gestaltet. Es war eine tolle Möglichkeit mal aus dem Alltagstrubel abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Simo und Sima haben uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen und waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes. Staying at Podere Vallescura felt like discovering a little piece of heaven on earth. The house itself is a sanctuary, embraced by the charm of Umbria’s rolling hills and golden sunflower fields. It’s exceptionally clean and entirely handcrafted by the owners. The details, thoughtfully created by Simo, are truly unique and a beautiful reflection of his talent.Sima is a wonderful and kind host who generously shared the process of making their Lavender oil.The hosts are truly exceptional,kind, intelligent, and wonderfully humble. They have mastered the perfect balance of being present yet invisible, always available when needed and consistently going above and beyond. Their thoughtful recommendations made exploring Umbria effortless and even more magical.Spending time here during the summer was unforgettable, and leaving felt almost impossible. Everything everyone else has written about Podere Vallescura is exactly right. It’s extremely beautiful and we felt right at home courtesy of our generous hosts. Simo even lent us some motor oil to help us avoid a car-related emergency. The dogs are adorable. Cardo Blu is nothing short of magical. The time, craftsmanship, and love that Sima and Simo have poured into their home is truly incredible. We loved being greeted by their dogs and feeding the chickens and donkeys. Each morning we collected fresh eggs for breakfast, and each evening we gathered vegetables straight from the garden for dinner.Simo and Sima are gracious hosts! Always available when needed and wonderfully knowledgeable about the land and history of the property. Wir hatten das Glück 5 Nächte bei Simo&Sima sein zu dürfen.*Die Ankunft*Simo war sehr entgegenkommend bzgl der Check-In Zeiten. Der Weg ist gut befahrbar. Die liebsten Hunde der Welt rennen gleich auf einen zu.In der Wohnung haben uns Frische Eier, Honig und Öl von Simo&Sima erwartet. *Der Ort*ist traumhaft schön! Die zwei haben mit eigenen Händen ein kleines Paradies aufgebaut. Uns wurde alles gezeigt, wir durften uns selber Eier und Gemüse aus dem Garten nehmen. Alles wirkte leicht und unkompliziert.*Die Lage*Ist super, um Ausflüge in der Region zu machen (Assisi 50 min Fahrt, Spello 40 min). Der Hof liegt in den Hügeln, zwischen duftenden Blumen. Wir haben von unserer Terrasse auch Rehe gesehen.*Die Menschen hinter dem Ort*sind ganz wunderbar. Beide haben sich für uns Zeit genommen. Sie sind respektvoll, humorvoll, haben tolle Ansichten und ein großes Herz für Natur und Tiere. *Fazit*Wir planen bereits jetzt schon gedanklich unsere Rückkehr. Ihr solltet buchen :)
